Dr Yip is our principal specialist obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Mangalore University, India in 1994 and completed his one-year housemanship in 1995.
Upon returning to Malaysia, he served in the Surgery, Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Hospital Alor Setar, Kedah, and started his profession as a Medical Officer in 1996 at Hospital Sibu, Sarawak.
He is active in charity works and served people with little access to healthcare having participated in ROTARY missions to rural parts of Sabah and Sarawak.
Dr Yip subsequently obtained his specialty in Ophthalmology in year 2002 from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He also obtained his Master in Medicine (Ophthalmology) from National University Singapore and certification from the International Council of Ophthalmology in Cambridge.

Dr Sanjeev is our neuro-ophthalmology specialist obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India in 1994 and completed his one-year housemanship in 1996 at UMMC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In year 2004 to 2005, he returned from UK and served again at Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital as a specialist. He was then attached as Clinical Fellow in Department of Neuro-Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK.
Dr Sanjeev’s achievements includes being the 1st Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmologist in Malaysia in year 2007 and is Clinical Lecturer for National institute Of Ophthalmic Series and University College of Technology Twintech, Selangor between year 2007 to 2012. In 2006, he was the Speaker for British Iles Neuro-Ophthalmology Club in Ireland, as well as being the Organizing Chairman and Speaker for the 1st and 2nd Neuro-Ophthalmology Symposium at Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital in 2009 and 2010.

Dr Anis is our consultant specialist specialises in vitreoretina surgery. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) at Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University in Malaysia (IIUM) in August 2003 and served at Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang, specialises in Orthopedics from January 2004 until January 2005. Thereafter he served at Hospital Selayang as a Hospital Medical Officer specialises in General Surgery, Paediatrics and Ophthalmology from February 2005 until Deecmber 2007. He was subsequently engaged as a Medical Officer in Ophthalmologist Training Programme in Selayang Hospital from January 2008 until December 2010.
He was also the Registrar in Ophthalmologist Training Programme at the same hospital from January 2011 until December 2012 before obtaining his Honorary Lecturer of Ophthalmology at University Sabah in December 2015. He further enhanced his credentials as a viteroretina fellow at Selayang Hospital from January 2016 until April 2018 and then as a vitreoretina fellowship from May 2018 until May 2019 in Paediatric Vitreoretina at Ramathibodhi Hospital and Mahidol University (India); Vitreoretinal Oncology at Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center and Mahidol University; and General Vitreoretina at Mettapracharak University in Bangkok, Thailand.

Prof. Dr Lim Lik Thai graduated from the Queen’s University of Belfast (UK) with multiple academic awards, before embarking on his post-graduate specialist training in Ophthalmology in the UK. The Ophthalmology training is extensive and not only covering general/comprehensive ophthalmology but also included sub-specialising in Glaucoma and Vitreo-retinal surgery/retina diseases through formal fellowships obtained from very competitive selection process.
Through his years of training and service in Ophthalmology in the UK, he had obtained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) UK (a mandatory qualification to hold a substantive consultant post in the NHS UK) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth (UK)). Prof. Dr Lim was also active in contributing towards the development of Ophthalmology training and service delivery whilst in the UK through his membership of the various committees within the Royal College of Ophthalmologists UK and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
